Movement Project

Here in Nu Works, we were asked to make a video demonstrating a clear image of movement. It was pretty fun. I was in a group with Celeste, Dominique, Neyda, and Naquayla. We wanted to be different than everyone else in our video. Most people probably did theirs on being depressed, sad, or angry. We took a risk and did it over being extremely crazy. This was extremely entertaining. In the video, my role was supposed to just be a dancer. It didn't work out like that though. We got many clips of me acting like a maniac and dancing. This is definitely a well appriciated project that I hope to one day even elaborate on.

Movement with Mr. Richards!:)

Last friday my Nu Works class got to take an amazing movement class with Mr. Richards. Any class that I get to take with him will always be taken advantage of. Mr. Richards is so amazingly creative and just hearing what he has to say is food to my soul. The improv classes allow you to not care what everyone else is thinking and just go with the flow.

Steve Jobs

When I got the news that Steve Jobs passed away, I had no clue what was going on. For one, I can honestly say that I didn't know who he was. One I looked into some of the things he's done, I was amazed! For one, he is the cofounder of one of the largest technology branches in the world. And we all know what I'm talking about, Apple. At least everyone I know has used or owned an apple product in some way or another. That's amazing! He is definatly a HUGE inspiration to the world.

Paul Baker

Paul Baker was a huge influence to my school, Booker t. Well of course he was, he FOUNDED the school. Paul baker was a native from Texas. He was also an artsy type of guy. Before he discovered this, he joined the United States Army, which demonstrates many different signs of indivualality, leadership, and commitment. These are some of the main things to be the artists we are. If it wasn't for Paul Baker, I would not be where I am today.

Nu Works

Nu works is an amazing class that we have at my school. It's mainly for freshman. The class allows us to interact with our peers who are equally new to the school. With the class, we film, show emotions, dance, act sing, draw, and even more. The class also allows us to get the right elements we need to be mature and perform to our best abilities.
